Shipping Policy

1. Overview

This policy explains how orders from Dawnbird Inc. are prepared, dispatched and delivered. Prices and shipping charges are in Canadian dollars. Taxes are added at checkout on goods that are subject to tax.

2. Processing and Dispatch

We roast to order. Your coffee is roasted and dispatched within 1-2 business days of your order being placed.

Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding Ontario public holidays.

3. Shipping Rates

Standard shipping within Canada is CA$10.00.

Express shipping is calculated at checkout based on your delivery address. The rate shown at checkout is the rate that applies to your order.

Standard shipping is free on orders of CA$60 or more, before any applicable taxes.

4. Delivery Timeframes

The times below run from dispatch, not from the date you place your order. They are estimates, not guarantees.

Deliveries to rural and remote areas may take longer.

5. Shipping Outside Canada

We have paused shipping to the United States following recent changes to United States import requirements. We will update this page when we resume.

6. If Your Order Has Not Arrived

If your order has not reached you within the timeframe in section 4, email support@dawnbird.coffee with your order number and we will look into it with the carrier.

7. If Your Order Arrives Damaged

Email support@dawnbird.coffee with your order number and photographs of the outer box and the contents. Please keep the packaging until we have finished looking into it.


8. Risk of Loss

All purchases are made pursuant to a shipment contract. Title and risk of loss pass to you upon our delivery of the goods to the carrier. We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages after delivery confirmation.
